The charming village of Fornesighe is located in the uncontaminated Val di Zoldo, immersed in the Dolomites mountains in Belluno, between Pelmo mountain and Civetta. It is difficult to remain indifferent to the natural beauty of this place. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of a mountain village made of wood and stone, far from traffic and mass tourism, but with the comfort of staying in a recently restored structure, respecting the tradition of the valley.
If, however, you have time and want to take a day trip, from here it is possible to visit several beautiful and more famous places, such as Cortina d’Ampezzo, only an hour away from here by car, an hour from Giau pass, an hour and a half from Venice, an hour and a half from Tre cime di Lavaredo natural park, to name a few.

Nearby Parking – Two Minutes from the Locanda
Once you arrive in Fornesighe, the final stretch of road is the same for everyone. After driving along the SP251 of Val di Zoldo and passing through Forno di Zoldo, you will enter the small village following the main road.
From this point onward, it is important not to rely entirely on your navigation system. In some cases, Google Maps may suggest a shortcut through very narrow streets in the historic center. These are charming mountain lanes, but not well suited for cars.
Instead, continue along the main road of the village without turning into the side streets. After a few dozen meters, you will find the public parking area closest to the Locanda. For greater accuracy, we recommend setting your destination in the navigator as Latteria di Fornesighe, which is located directly opposite the parking area.
The parking area is public, easily accessible, and offers several parking spaces. Even during moderately busy periods, availability is generally not an issue.
Once parked, Locanda Nona Giò can be reached in about one minute on foot.
Simply continue along the road, walk through the small central section of the village, and within a few steps you will be standing at the entrance of the Locanda.
Parking During High Season (Christmas and August)
During peak periods, such as the Christmas holidays and the month of August, we recommend using the larger public parking area located along the main road before entering the heart of the village.
It is easier to reach, does not require tight maneuvering, and is ideal when the village is busier.
From this parking area, the Locanda is only a few minutes away on foot, along a simple and completely flat path.
